1 Preserve Life and Safety

Care for the Injured

The most important thing is to check if there are injured people. Do not move the injured as they could have serious injuries. If you have knowledge, provide basic first aid while waiting for emergency services to arrive.

Area Safety

Secure the incident area to prevent additional damage. If possible and safe, take measures to prevent the incident from worsening or affecting third parties.

Behavior at the Scene

Stay at the accident scene under any circumstances. Stay calm at all times and avoid arguments with others involved. Your safety and that of others is the priority.

2 Complete Incident Documentation

Photographic Record

Take photographs that fully document the incident. Capture general views of the place and specific details of all damages. Document the environment and conditions that may be relevant to the case (weather conditions, signage, facility conditions, etc.).

Record complete information of all people and/or entities involved. This includes full names, ID number, at least two contact phone numbers, current address and email. This information will be crucial for case follow-up.
