Important for your operation

The policyholder is the tenant, and it includes the building fire clause in favor of the owner. Fire insurance is different from the rental surety bond: the surety guarantees payment, fire insurance protects the property and contents against fire. If the tenant does not take out the insurance, it is advisable to recommend the owner get their own coverage just in case.
